Metro's facility tour begins at the Ingersoll St. entrance of the Metro Maintenance and Administration Facility (1101 E. Washington Ave.)

Your Tour Guide will then host a short bus trip through the Metro neighborhood explaining Metro's services and demonstrating the different functions of Metro's modern motorcoach fleet.

While remaining onboard, visitors then venture into the Metro Maintenance facility and through the ever-popular bus wash!

Travel back in time as your guide explains the history of Metro Transit in Madison and shows off a newly refurbished bus originally constructed back in 1948. 

The tour ends with a short walking trip through the Metro Maintenance facility. The cost of the tour is FREE and appropriate for all ages! 

Tours take approximately one hour and can be scheduled Tuesdays through Fridays from
9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

Other times may be arranged upon request depending on staffing and equipment levels.
